Altitude Riders is a proud partner with Clean Drink Adventures. Together we provide safe drinking water solutions for villages throughout the Terai region of Nepal. Just last year, Altitude Riders has helped to provide clean water to a dozen villages and schools.
It's also part of the Altitude Riders mission to help local communities through commerce. By supporting local businesses and hotels, our guests are able to enjoy a rich cultural exchange while bolstering local economies.

ITINERARIES (Two Wheeler Trips)
Upper Mustang Expedition
Mustang lies in the northern region of far western Nepal, one of the most remote places in the country. The former kingdom of Lo Manthang, sits on the lap of the Himalayas. This dry and rugged landscape is not easy to go to, however, it is one of the last authentic Tibetan settlements that still practice the ancient way of life even today. Journey into this otherworldly region and feel yourself getting transported back in time. The Upper Mustang Expedition is a challenging, yet rewarding trip.
Your trip begins after you touch down in Kathmandu. The first day will be spent exploring the local sites. Starting the next day, you will ride through terraced foothills, ascending slowly as you get acclimatized. You will travel through rivers, terraced foothills, and finally the Himalayas while exploring remote villages. Our final destination is Lo Manthang, where time has stood still. Spend as many days as you prefer, then we end the trip with a descent to Pokhara to relax and rejuvenate followed by a quick flight back to Kathmandu.

Riding Conditions
Riders will require good skills and fitness for this tour. This trip will have you reaching an altitude of 12,400 feet. So, it is necessary to take this trip slowly and get used to the altitudes. Most of the trail will be dry terrain with occasional rivers. While the scenery will be breathtaking.
Accommodation
The beginning and the end of your tour will include stays at luxurious hotels. While on the trip, we will be staying at high-mountain lodges and tea houses as well. We will be traveling with our world-class mobile basecamp, so that even if we need to make a stop for the night at any point of the trip, we are ready will all required facilities.

The Giant Himalayan Loop
This one’s for the true adventure riders. This expedition offers a trip through the great Himalayan range covering remote corners of the country. Covering most of the upper regions of Nepal such as Muktinath and the Sivalik foothills to lesser-known regions like the Mahabharat Lekh and to the lower plains of terai. You will get to experience four of Nepal’s geographical stratum. You will ride hard and you will ride far.
We will start our journey from Kathmandu. As you get off the plane, we will spend one day exploring the ancient city. The trip begins the next day, with the first destination in the jungles of terai. Next, we will make our way to the Sivalik foothills, then eventually make our way through the lesser Himalayas known as the Mahabharat Lekh towards Muktinath. At the end of the trip, we move towards Pokhara to spend a relaxing day at the lake city and then finally return to Kathmandu for your returning flight.
